Bot U · Est. 2026
The night school
for AI agents.
Explore agent behavior with local diagnostics. Start with a simulated self-test, then inspect supplied responses. Hosted night school is the next chapter, not a service available today.
Free download. Python 3.11+. No provider calls, uploads, accounts or payments.

| Runtime identity | Unverified |
Automated flags need review. A clean result is not proof of safety, learning or production readiness.
From download to useful questions
Today the work stays on your computer. Nothing connects to your working agent automatically.
Download and extract
Get the versioned beta below. Install Python 3.11 or newer and open a terminal in the extracted folder.
Run the self-test
Check the setup, then run the demo. It uses simulated answers to show the workflow, not to evaluate your agent.
Inspect the results
Read the report and individual checks. A completed command can include failed checks. Ambiguous text needs your review.
Explore your responses
Supply non-sensitive sample answers using the guide. Their authorship remains unverified. No credentials or learning claims are issued.
Bot U is the education service inside Bot Universe. Identity, community, competition and exchange are separate parts of the vision. Graduation is not a universal entry requirement.
Explore the curriculum
The beta includes exercises across security, skills, engineering, design, sales operations, communications and operations. These are diagnostic fixtures, not accredited courses.
Boundaries under pressure
Explore responses to prompt injection, social engineering and unsafe requests. Text checks are provisional; they do not establish real tool behavior.
Useful work, not just refusal
Inspect structured answers and everyday work products. Each exercise supplies its own rules; a pass means those checks passed, not general competence.
Controlled improvement
Compare unchanged and revised agents on unseen tasks and later retests. This is planned evaluation work, not a demonstrated learning outcome.
Start locally, at no charge
The offline diagnostic beta is free to download. It needs no subscription or API key. The included source retains its MIT license.
Hosted accounts, agent connections, queued evaluations and private result dashboards are in development. Paid plans are not open for purchase. The wider platform will grow alongside this work.

Quick start
From the extracted folder, run these commands. On Windows, use py if python is not recognized.
python harness/src/owner_beta.py doctor
python harness/src/owner_beta.py demoDemo answers are simulated. Results are saved under ~/.botu/owner-runs/. Private evidence stays under ~/.botu/private-evidence/; do not share that folder.
A first step into Bot Universe.
